RiseUp Class Instructor

Teachers are needed for classes such as budgeting, resume preparation and dressing for success, basic computer skills, creative child play, men of integrity, nutrition, healthy living, and more. 

Client Advocate for Our RiseUp Course

Young expectant mothers (and fathers) need one-on-one mentoring throughout the pregnancy and after. We have a database of educational materials, videos, and resources for maternal support, prenatal care, nutrition, parenting, healthy relationships, and more! We also have Client Advocates for new fathers.

Client Advocate for Our Medical Center

Help meet immediate, critical needs. Provide powerful, life-affirming truth and resources to empower clients to stand up to the pressures that her life and our culture place on her to abort her child. This requires training!

Receptionist/Administration

A four-hour per week commitment requiring a friendly demeanor and an ability to keep confidentiality is necessary for this position. Since the receptionist is the first person to encounter clients, it requires a heart for the Lord, which shines forth in love.

Building and Yard Maintenance

  1. Light cleaning and vacuuming of center.
  2. Window washing, painting, seasonal cleaning.
  3. Yard clean-up Spring, Summer, Fall.
  4. One-time and ongoing opportunities.
  5. Sewing (or knitting or crochet) of baby clothes.
  6. We’d love to have an on-call list of people with plumbing, construction, and/or electrical skills.

Life Ambassadors

Represent Muskegon Pregnancy Services as a spokesperson and liaison to your church or community. Speak on behalf of the center to make others aware of the life services we provide. Also, help to engage community and church partnerships.

Prevention Education

Muskegon ranks 3rd and 4th in the state for the top STDs (Chlamydia and Gonorrhea). Muskegon Pregnancy Services offers prevention education that is nationally certified called Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA)

We are looking for presenters of a research-based curriculum to schools and youth groups called Willing 2 Wait, giving the next generation information and choices for their optimal health. In order to teach in the public school system, a national certification is required. The certification process takes about 30 hours.

Finances

Become a board member, responsible for budgetary concerns, projections, and oversight of fundraising, including events.

Communication and Marketing

Responsible for advertising, promoting community awareness, marketing materials, and social media.

Event Planning

Responsible for annual LifeWalk, Banquet, Baby Bottle Boomerang, and any other fundraising events.
