When a woman in the middle of a crisis pregnancy walks through our doors, she may feel like no one understands her situation. She may feel alone. Our Client Advocates listen without judgment or pressure to help her process information about her pregnancy options, sort through her feelings, and navigate the choices ahead. The decision of how to handle her pregnancy is up to her; but our Client Advocates will equip her to make that decision confidently, with our understanding and support. All you need is a desire to reach out in the name of Christ to the hurting and hopeless with a willingness to listen, mentor and pray. Call our Client Services Coordinator to begin the advocate training process.

There is a silent epidemic that is occurring in Muskegon County. It is hidden and growing in size and severity, and this epidemic will continue to spread unless direct action is taken. Sexually transmitted deceases. Muskegon ranks 3rd and 4th in the state for the top STD’s (Chlamydiae and Gonorrhea).
Muskegon Pregnancy Services offers a prevention education that is nationally certified called Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) curriculum. We are looking to offer this curriculum to schools and youth groups giving the next generation information and choices for their optimal health. This evidenced based curriculum encourages building healthy relationships by making healthy choices and avoiding risky behaviors. With science, facts, and statistics about a person’s well-being it emboldens youth to “being willing to wait” as abstinence as their 100% safe choice and will benefit their physical, mental, emotional health, while goal setting for success. We currently are presenting a 30-minute prevention presentation to youth group, churches, and schools; however, this curriculum could also extend for several class sessions.
